Bass Simon Harkness and fiancée Linsey Fleming were married on Saturday 3rd April at 2pm in the Rankin Church Strathaven with the choir providing moral support and encouragement!
The happy couple invited the choir to be part of their special day and we were delighted to accept this honour. Linsey entered the church and joined Simon at the alter to the strains of 'Highland Cathedral' sung majestically by the choir and as the 'wedding party' witnessed the signing of the register the choir sang 'Let It Be Me' and 'Morte Criste'.
The 'newly-weds' left the church to begin their life together with 'One' from 'A Chorus Line' rather appropriately ringing in their ears.
As you can see, the day was enjoyed by all and it was great to see a huge turn-out of choir members to wish them all the best for the future.
And finally, what about some suggestions for a caption for this rather apt 'gem' of a photo from our Annual Concert
